Spiritual food - let prayer and Bible scripture begin your day
First some spiritual advice here, begin your day with some Bible scripture and/or prayer. Nowadays, I almost always read something from the Bible in the morning and I always pray morning prayer. Most often I pray to Jesus Christ before breakfast for about 20 minutes.
When He blesses your day, it's the best thing that can happen to you. Definitely better than any vitamin or nutrient you can get. It's beyond all comparison. Of course. I read the Bible every day and almost always in the morning for breakfast.
New findings about carbohydrates, health and weight loss
On this page are many tips about eating healthy, nutritions and how to loose weight. Among other things, the focus is on eating low carb. I think it is an important and healthy attitude in today's society, where we eat too much wheat flour, white bread, sugar, etc, which makes us sick. So this page provides several tips on low-carb diet. But here are some new interesting findings: All carbohydrates do not affect the body in the same way. There are healthier carbohydrates, for example in barley that can help to lose weight. White wheat flour, wheat bread are things that makes us fat. But there is a big difference between refined white flour and whole wheat grains and how they affect health.
Further down I write about the benefits of eating whole grains of wheat, oats etc called "oat berries", "wheat berries" or "wheat pearls". I also write about barley that has resistant starch, all carbohydrates are not bad.
There are different kinds of Carbohydrates (resistant starch)
First, it's important to distinguish between white wheat flour and wheat whole grains. The same applies to oats and other cereals. Eating grain, wheat for example on whole grains (ie not flour) has a positive impact on health. This is healthy to eat: Wheat berries, Oat berries.
Secondly, there are also carbohydrates that are not stored in the body as fat and that do not affect blood sugar particularly much. These carbohydrates are called resistant starch and are found in Barley whole grains for example. And Barley porridge contains resistant starch, really healthy, good for weight loss!

Health benefits of eating Low-Carb
Carbohydrates is energy. Carbohydrates you don't burn make you fat.
Ok, back to "regular-food carbohydrates" found in everyday-food. Carbohydrates is energy. The carbohydrates you don't burn during training or exercise is stored as fat in your body. Carbohydrates make you fat and white bread, white flour, sugar and alcohol are some of the things that most contribute to destroying our health. Too much carbohydrates make you fat. Reduce your intake of carbohydrates. First and foremost you should avoid wheat flour, white bread, fast food, sugar, sweets and soft drinks. It may also be smart to avoid corn flour, corn products, semi-fabricated foods -ready-made-meals, pancakes, buns, rice, pasta, potatoes, pizza, french fries, etc. It is all full of carbohydrates. Also exclude sweets such as candy, cakes, ice cream, milkshakes etc. Sugar destroys your health.
Eating too much Carbohydrates makes you fat
The carbohydrates you eat are converted to blood glucose. And then insuline is produced to bring down the level of blood glucose and remove it from the blood and transport it into your cells.
(from diabeteshealth.com) "Insulin takes glucose out of the bloodstream. It is converted first into a starch called glycogen, which is stored in the liver and in muscles. But the body can store only a limited amount of glycogen, so the excess glucose is stored as body fat. This is the process of putting on weight."
LCHF dieting - low carb high fat
This diet is called LCHF - low carb high fat and aims to minimize the intake of carbohydrates. But it's allowed to eat very much fat, such as cream, butter, olive oil, rapseed oil, egg, fat from meat etc.
This diet makes you to lose weight and it is good for health and is very popular in Sweden. Don't eat pasta, noodles, french fries, potatoes or rice to your meat. Take extra tomatoes, sallad and vegetables instead. And take lots of creamsauce, garlic butter and mayonnaise!
But don't take hamburger dressing because it contains much sugar. Read on the food package, read the content, percent of carbohydrates and don't buy it if it's to high.
LCHF exclude/ reduce the intake of carbohydrates, but eat a lot of fat
If you exclude/ reduce the intake of carbohydrates it does not matter if you eat a lot of fat. You can even lose weight even if you eat a lot of fat. But then you must be consistent and exclude carbohydrates. Sugar is 100% Carbohydrates. Don't eat sugar. But don't eat aspartame, Canderel, Hermesetas etc because they causes cancer. As sweetener you should use Xylitol, Birch sugar or Stevia
Birch Sugar/Xylitol has 75% less carbohydrates and 40% less calories content compared to regular sugar and it protects teeth against caries.
You can make your own icecream, candy, chocolate balls etc and use Xylitol Birch sugar and/or Stevia as sweeteners. It's wholesome and also good for your teeth compared to sugar. Xylitol prevents caries, tooth decay and protects you teeth.
Bake low carb crisp bread/cracker bread
Crispbread - low carb (only 5% carbohydrates)
This is a delicious and healthy crispbread that contains 5 grams carbohydrates per 100 grams
I have developed the bread on the basis of an other recipe containing corn flour and different seeds. My aim was to minimize the number of carbohydrates. Since this bread contains very much flaxseed it prevents constipation. The toxin found in flax seed is inactivated by heating so you can eat the bread with peace. The bread is gluten-free, crunchy and very tasty. Because it becomes quite thick slices, you can take extra butter and cheese on. Preparation time: about 50 minutes. Enjoy!
350 grams of crushed flaxseed (contains 4,5 grams carbohydrates)
100 grams almond flour (contains 13 grams carbohydrates)
100 grams Coconut Flour (contains 17 grams carbohydrates)
100 grams Psyllium husk (contains 3,5 grams carbohydrates)
1,5 tsp salt (zero carbohydrates)
110 grams of olive oil or rapeseed oil (zero carbohydrates)
9 eggs (zero carbohydrates)
30 minutes in the oven at 200 degrees celcius
Mix all dry ingredients. Pour in the eggs and the oil. Mix the dough. Divide the dough in two parts. Put each part on a baking sheet with greaseproof. Use the palm of your hand and press out the dough on the baking sheet. It's a little hard to do it. It take some skill and patience. You can put a greaseproof on top also (perhaps soft teflon) and use a rolling pin. Put the baking sheet in the oven for 30 minutes. The bread is ready when it begins to get dark brown at the edges. Take out the plate and let the bread cool. Crack the bread in pieces. Eat it with a very thick layer of butter and cheese. This is eating low carb.
Total weight of dough ingredients: 810 grams
Total content of carbohydrates: 38 grams
Content of carbohydrates per 100 grams: 5 grams

I make porridge of Chia seeds. I prefer to eat it cold milk topped with sunflower seeds. I often make a bigger cup/bucket of Chia porridge and keep it in the fridge with a lid on the bucket and then I just take some when I want. It's absolutely perfect and you get satisfied for a long time. It's also nice to have a smaller bucket/ cup of it in the fridge.

34 grams almond flour (100 ml)
43 grams coconut flour (100 ml)
0,5 tsp salt plus 1 hint of salt

Pour the water in a bowl. Add the almond flour, coconut flour, salt and stir shortly. Add the chia seeds stir and let it swell for about 4 minutes. Stir now and then. If you want you can add 3 table spoons coconut oil or rapeseed oil and stir. Serve with milk, coconut milk, cream or what you prefer. Top with your favorite seeds, or fruit. LCHF thick pancake in owen (Updated!)
500 grams Swedish Kvarg (500 ml) or natural quark genuss exquisa, or Fromage Frais, or mascarpone
400 grams water (400 ml)
0.5 liters of cream (500 ml)
90 grams (200 ml) almond flour or coconut flour
45 grams psyllium seed husk, Fiberhusk (100 ml)
1 tsp salt
3 tsp baking powder
Mix all the wet ingredients plus the baking soda and the salt. Add the almond flour and psyllium seed/Fiberhusk at last. Mix the batter with rod mixer. Note When adding psyllium seeds you have to make it very fast and whisk quickly, about 30 seconds for the batter thickens in about 30 seconds when adding psyllium seeds /fiberhusk. Therefore, be prepared before using a greased deep baking sheet. Immediately pour the batter into the baking sheet, about 30 seconds after adding the psyllium seed /fiberhusk. Bake 30 minutes in the oven for about 225 degrees celsius. I'm a bit uncertain of the time, the temperature... you try.
It is very good and low in carbohydrates, children like it. Sorry that the recipe was a bit unfinished before. Now it should work better :)
