Causes for Trigger Finger and Carpal tunnel syndrome
Excessive ammoiunts of uric acid in the blood, deposition of monosodium urate crystals in the joints seems to be a common cause for Trigger fingers, Carpal tunnel syndrome and Gout.
If this is the cause, probably a change in diet, reducing the intake of refined carbohydrates such as wheat flour and sugar can help alleviate this problem. See the last links at the end of the page.
